Ultra Rule

The Ultra Rule is a device that is designed to measure the height of a child/adult. It was built to make it easier for GP's to measure the height of wriggly children. It uses an 18M2 PIC, a serial LCD, and an SRF05 ultra sonic sensor. It also has two opto-switches to check that the device is level. The device measures in cm, m and ft and is accurate to the nearest cm. There is a menu panel to allow users to change units. If all the buttons are held down at the start the project runs the "Dr Sheldon Cooper" friendship algorithm from the popular tv show "The Big Bang Theory."
