Video location tagging using NMEA to DTMF conversion

Description

Annotates video with GPS (location) information (GPS and Video synchronization). It uses one of the video camera's audio channel to store positioning information. Positioning information comes from a GPS module with serial output, it is then parsed by a PICAXE 18X and is then converted to DTMF (audio) by an MT8888 chip. Current NMEA data are also displayed on an LCD. Video GPS annotation is performed without an external PC/laptop/GPS recorder etc. The price to construct this is in the range of 50€, GPS included.
