- Enter a permanent stop loop until the power cycles (program re-runs) or the PC connects for a new download. The stop command places the microcontroller into a permanent loop at the end of a program. Unlike the end command the stop command does not put the microcontroller into low power mode after a program has finished. The stop command does not switch off internal timers, and so commands such as servo and pwmout that require these timers will continue to function.
