PICAXE Programming Ports

Description

I like the ease of using a PICAXE 28X2 module, but many projects don't need all those GPIO pins so I switch to a smaller PICAXE chip, but then I have to move the chip from the project to the AXE091 Development Board and back for reprogramming. The solution is that I decided to make a PICAXE Programming Port for each of the PICAXE chips that simple plugs down over the top of the PICAXE chips on a bread board or my RoboGuts™ circuit board so that it looks and works as easily as if the bread board has a PICAXE 28X2 module.
